Fentress County Justice Center

The new Fentress County Justice Center and Jail is 52,500 SF. The project program includes court rooms, clerk / office space, sheriff’s department office space, and jail detention space with jail support spaces. During the design of the building, sight line studies were performed in the courtroom and detention spaces assuring proper views and supervision of the spaces. Secured hallways allow prisoner movement to be separated from the general public. The detention area was designed to allow future additions to be integrated with the initial control room so prisoner observation can be handled in one central location
