The Young Williams Animal Center was an extensive renovation of a former restaurant housed in a pre-engineered building. The center houses an animal adoption center, a spay/neuter clinic, doggie day care by PetSafe and a retail space for Invisible Fence. The renovation and addition utilizes natural lighting through the use of skylights and storefront windows and doors throughout the adoption center. The project incorporated a new façade that included a natural stone veneer base, heavy timber beams and columns, and a standing seam metal roof. There is a new covered outdoor play space for the animals to enjoy that also allows visitors to see the animals before entering the facility.
