Tommy grew up on the bayous of Southern Louisiana, close to the mouth of the Mississippi River and holds a BA in Business Administration with minors in Psychology, Marketing and Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University.

After graduating he began his career building large apartment units in the New Orleans region then went into commercial and industrial structures including hospitals, medical office buildings, dental clinics, condominiums, warehouses, higher education, retail and biotech facilities.

Tommy is loving living in Knoxville with his wife Yukari and enjoys writing and playing music. Being an empty nester, they have 8 children, 3 in the DC area and 5 in the New Orleans area. They are also blessed with 7 healthy grandchildren.
